The Bible:
The Bible is God’s infallible Word. It is the revelation of His will and purpose to mankind. Every word is inspired and is the ultimate authority for all areas of our life.
God:
There is only one God who has revealed Himself in three persons-the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit. He is the Creator and Sovereign Lord of all things.
Jesus Christ:
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, sinless and perfect. He not only taught and demonstrated the power of God in miracles, but also died on a cross as a payment for man’s sins (so that anyone who believes in Him can be saved from their sins), rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven. One day He will return to the earth in a final demonstration of power and victory.
The Holy Spirit:
The Holy Spirit is at work in the Church today giving the inward power of God to believers, helping them live a life of holiness, overcome sin, operate the gifts of the Spirit and do the will of God. A believer can be baptized in the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of speaking in tongues, by an act of faith in prayer.
Salvation:
Any person can become a new “spiritual” person in Jesus Christ, with the forgiveness of sins, removal of guilt and inward change of heart, by believing in Jesus Christ, and turning away from sin. This is what it means to be born again.
The Church:
The local church is the gathering place for God’s people, who, because of their covenant with God, involve themselves in worship, teaching, service and giving and cultivating relationships with other Christians. It is a place for ministry, healing, prayer, communion, counseling and encouragement. Together, the church will be victorious over sin, the world’s system and the devil, providing solutions and protection for God’s people in today’s world.
